The hand behind Kcaphiology
Caribbean · Mythology · Melanin · Mystic

Kimon Lewis — KLEW — is a Caribbean artist working from Road Town, Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands. His work moves between pencil, oil pastel and paint, drawn toward mythology, melanin and the mystic: portraits that look for the spirit beneath the skin, and concept work that builds a folklore of its own.
Across a decade of drawing — from charcoal portraits of cultural icons to original mythic figures and album cover art — the through-line stays the same: art as narrative, rooted in island identity and the stories that shape us.
Kcaphiology is the house that holds it — a place to leak artistic narratives and go heat-seeking with native creatives.
